My least favorite time of the semester is now officially started: FINALS WEEK.  This semester I feel less secure than ever before, as organic chemistry is kicking my (*donkey) all over the place.  It ain't called the "GPA killer" for nothing, that is for sure!  I am dreading when they issue grades ... and I used to be on the deans' list :(

I got back from my trip thursday night, but just couldn't put into words what I have been feeling.  I still can't.  Along with burying a YOUNGER cousin, I have a whole jumble of thoughts and feelings on the funeral service itself (done in a Christian church).  I need to take some time to sort things out about all this.  I think I'll just let it simmer in the back of my mind and wait for it to finish cooking (to extend the metaphor).

I'm going to be out-of-town for a few days due to traveling for a funeral and probably won't have internet access while I am gone.  See y'all Thursday or Friday when I get back.

I'm sure y'all remember Bob Barr and the big flap about (GASP!) wiccans serving and celebrating in the military.  Well, he's at it again.  He has decided to run for President as a Libertarian!  First I don't believe the Libertarians would even let him in, as anti-individual freedom as he has been in the past.  Second, I can't believe how many of them are completely ignoring the issue of his attempt to prevent Wiccans from holding religous ceremonies on military installations (which Google cannot find ANYthing resembling an apology for from him).
